Not just to install, but Office "dials home" about every 30 days to verify the license and if it cannot connect it goes into cripple mode where you can no longer create new or edit old docs. Office is licensed for the single PC, so if you have multiple PC's you would need multiple versions of Office. KK, I do not understand your post. Why would you want Outlook email Client if you do not want to be connected to the internet. In any event you will need to be connected to the internet to install and activate all versions of Office. Office Home and Business is a perpetual on-premises one-time Purchase version of Office. Once installed you do not need to be online to use the applications other than Outlook. Home and Business You will need to purchase one for each of your computers.
